Rocha FC's Roberto Aurken got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Pablo Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Tristan in the 16th minute of play. Roberto Aurken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Ermegildo Ellande when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Bernardo Duardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes, Las Plantas's Guaberto Txatxu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oscar Bonifaco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Las Plantas reached it. After 32 minutes, Fermin Asier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rocha FC and the Las Plantas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Las Plantas booed when Rocha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rocha FC's Fermin Asier got a free kick in the 36th minute. Guillermo Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Oscar Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Ellande made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Roberto Aurken sent off a good shot on target. If Roberto Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efrain Tristan was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Guillermo Guillelmus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Plantas's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Guillelmus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Bonifaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florentino Chuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Guillermo Guillelmus came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Las Plantas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Guillelmus couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Roberto Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Las Plantas's Ermegildo Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Aurken in the 79th minute of play. Ermegildo Ellande came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Rocha FC's Roberto Aurken. But to his dismay, Roberto Aurken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Florentino Chuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Bonifaco was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Rocha FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Las Plantas for a fine match.
