Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marciano Intxixu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benigno Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Sayvion in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Marciano Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Monos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Intxixu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Los Monos's Fausto Quinten threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marciano Intxixu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sauce's goalkeeper Fausto Quinten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casimiro Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Quinten having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Tomás Sayvion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Quinten having to interfere. Artemio Raymond's late challenge caught a Los Monos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artemio Raymond helped the player get up and apologised. If Casimiro Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Intxixu came free, but Fausto Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Artemio Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marciano Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fausto Quinten didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 44th minute, one of Sauce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sauce. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Intxixu in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Quinten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Intxixu in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Quinten saved Sauce from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomás Sayvion made the kick off in the second half. Marciano Intxixu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Marciano Intxixu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sauce's Fausto Quinten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Intxixu in the 57th minute of the match. If Casimiro Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Pirro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When Los Monos's Casimiro Firman in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sauce's goalie prevented a goal. Casimiro Firman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Quinten having to make a save. During the 67th minute of the match Artemio Raymond completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Artemio Raymond a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th match minute, Sauce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Intxixu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Mano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fausto Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Edgard Gartzen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Los Monos's Edgard Panpili got a free kick in the 79th minute. Marciano Intxixu struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Fausto Quinten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Monos. Marciano Intxixu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Casimiro Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Monos's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Firman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Quinten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marciano Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Quinten having to interfere. Fausto Quinten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Firman's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Monos had played much better football throughout.
