In the 13th minute Tomás Sayvion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fausto Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Tibalt's late challenge caught a Sauce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Tibalt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Las Plantas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fausto Quinten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Chuse's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Guillermo Guillelmus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Las Plantas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Santiago Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Chuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Dayam during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74thth minute of the game Florentino Chuse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sauce's Fausto Quinten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Florentino Chuse put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fausto Quinten.
