Aureliano Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Oroitz in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Elias Santiago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castillo Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carlos Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24thth minute of the game Elias Santiago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirates's Aureliano Cordaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Froilan Lekubegi fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castillo Juniors FC's protests and gave Froilan Lekubegi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pirates booed when Castillo Juniors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Santiago in the 28th minute of play forced Pirates's goalkeeper Aureliano Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Oroitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Aureliano Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Oroitz in the 45th minute of the match. Elias Santiago dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Santiago was the one to do the kick off. Elias Santiago had several of the Pirates's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Aureliano Cordaro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aureliano Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Carlos Sein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Amaya having to make a save. If Carlos Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes Froilan Oroitz got an excellent opportunity and fired away a shot on goal, but Aureliano Cordaro was perfectly placed and executed a great save. Aureliano Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Castillo Juniors FC's Aristides Pasqual dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Aureliano Cordaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elias Santiago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 80 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Elias Santiago took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Aureliano Cordaro to make any attempt to save it. Pirates's Aureliano Cordaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Pasqual in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Rene Bakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pirates's zone, Elias Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Cordaro came out of the goal and Elias Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Oroitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Aureliano Cordaro made a huge save. Aureliano Cordaro made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Froilan Oroitz sent off a good shot on target.
