Aureliano Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Bakar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aureliano Cordaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute Clodoveo Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Cordaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Frans came free, but Aureliano Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Carlos Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pirates's Alvaro Vergaray got a free kick in the 24th minute. Carlos Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Damaso Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Carmelo Rosalio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Cordaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the Amicus defense, Carlos Sein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Demario. The Amicus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Demario should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Amicus booed when Pirates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Bakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Americo Boni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amicus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Boni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aureliano Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Frans in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Aureliano Cordaro made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Francisco Montay sent off a good shot on target. After 59 minutes, Gaudencio Felipillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amicus and the Pirates players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Amicus's Gaudencio Felipillo got a free kick in the 59th minute. The throw-in from Gaudencio Felipillo in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pirates's Luisito Sindo. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Aureliano Cordaro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Carlos Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Amicus's Clodoveo Frans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Cordaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute of the match, Gaudencio Felipillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aureliano Cordaro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Damaso Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Sein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amicus's Damaso Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Sein in the 88th minute of play. Aureliano Cordaro made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Francisco Montay sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Amicus eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
