LOS MASACRADORES AF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Benito Rojelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POKER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Aurelio Cesario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Francisco Abechuco made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Aurelio Cesario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Abechuco. POKER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Cesario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Adrian Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Aurelio Cesario struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Francisco Abechuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS MASACRADORES AF. If Alfredo Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aurelio Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the LOS MASACRADORES AF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Cesario couldn't finish the play. If Aurelio Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in LOS MASACRADORES AF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Felipe Abadia shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Benito Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Rojelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Rojelio ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
After 56 minutes of play, LOS MASACRADORES AF's Alfredo Gau made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Abechuco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Fernandes having to interfere. Benito Rojelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Francisco Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Abechuco was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Urbano Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Abechuco having to interfere. Adrian Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Izotz in the 93rd minute. When Camilo Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the POKER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Izotz couldn't finish the play. Camilo Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
