Inocencio Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 minutes, Pastor Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concepción and the Intiyaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavio Felipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Batista's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Uriel Madaleno charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Madaleno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Intiyaco getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Uriel Madaleno hit a great ball. A hard shot 15 in the game by Eustaquio Batista from a close distance when the talented Octavio Felipo managed to make a qualified save. Intiyaco's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Esteban Isias got a free kick in the 18th minute. Fulgencio Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Bernat in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Intiyaco getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Uriel Madaleno hit a great ball. Intiyaco's Octavio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Estebe in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Intiyaco's goalkeeper Octavio Felipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Michael. Eustaquio Batista in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Octavio Felipo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eustaquio Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Felipo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremias Bernat to strike the kick off in the second half. Octavio Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Leonides Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Intiyaco's Jeremias Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inocencio Vela was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Intiyaco's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eustaquio Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustaquio Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Intiyaco's zone, Eustaquio Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Felipo came out of the goal and Eustaquio Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Intiyaco's Octavio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Estebe in the 72nd minute of play. Jeremias Bernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Oihenarte having to interfere. When Leonides Rayman fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concepción's protests and gave Leonides Rayman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Leonides Rayman got a free kick in the 78th minute. Lázaro Pacorro, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Ignacio Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Estebe couldn't finish the play. Ignacio Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Batista in the 85th minute of play forced Intiyaco's goalkeeper Octavio Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Sugar's late challenge caught a Intiyaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulino Sugar helped the player get up and apologised. Paulino Sugar kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Pastor Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Concepción were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Intiyaco for a fine match.
