Cirilo Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Abechuco having to interfere. When Victorio Mikelats came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Soledad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Mikelats couldn't finish the play. Soledad FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
