The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severino Jaunti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Angel Azubeli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Severino Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Gonsalve in the 10th minute of play forced Rocha's goalkeeper Justo Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Oskarbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Oskarbi in the 15th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soledad FC! Aquiles Leoiar shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a little luck, Soledad FC's Angel Azubeli got control of the ball when Severino Jaunti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Misael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Gonsalve, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the Soledad FC defense, Severino Jaunti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Azubeli. The Soledad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Azubeli should have stopped the shot. Angel Azubeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Urritz in the 38th minute of play. Rocha's Justo Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Oskarbi in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Gonsalve to strike the kick off in the second half. Angel Azubeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Saul Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Severino Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rocha's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Jaunti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Azubeli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Severino Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Soledad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Leoiar came free, but Angel Azubeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Azubeli having to interfere. Angel Azubeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Jaunti in the 72nd minute of play. If Angelino Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soledad FC's Moises Medero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Justo Misael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cirilo Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Misael having to interfere. Saul Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rocha booed when Soledad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Matteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Urritz in the 88th minute of play forced Soledad FC's goalkeeper Angel Azubeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Azubeli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Urritz went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rocha fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soledad FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
