The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Abechuco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ivan Hibai's late challenge caught a Carapaligüe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Hibai helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes POKER got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Hibai. Raimundo Berriotxoa scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Abechuco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonzalo Kaiet hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in POKER's zone, Raimundo Berriotxoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Abechuco came out of the goal and Raimundo Berriotxoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. POKER's Benito Rojelio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Rolando Arnau came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Carapaligüe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Arnau couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Rojelio in the 36th minute of the match. Efrain Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Camilo Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Inocencio Liher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Francisco Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Polo in the 43rd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Rojelio made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Camilo Izotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raimundo Berriotxoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes, Efrain Francesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carapaligüe and the POKER players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carapaligüe's Efrain Francesco got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Camilo Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the POKER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Izotz couldn't finish the play.
