If Victorio Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, POKER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Hibai to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Mikelats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Francisco Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of POKER booed when Soledad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Felipe Abadia in the 15th minute really tested Angel Azubeli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Gonsalve in the 18th minute of play forced POKER's goalkeeper Francisco Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soledad FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Benito Rojelio 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Benito Rojelio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Angel Azubeli to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute, Benito Rojelio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Francisco Abechuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Gonsalve in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Soledad FC's Cirilo Gonsalve got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Benito Rojelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rafael Egoi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soledad FC's protests and gave Rafael Egoi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Rafael Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Mikelats made a kick off. POKER's Felipe Abadia got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Azubeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Francisco Abechuco made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cirilo Gonsalve sent off a good shot on target. Cirilo Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, POKER's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Mikelats came free, but Francisco Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Benito Rojelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to POKER getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ivan Hibai hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Victorio Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soledad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Mikelats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Abechuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Camilo Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Angel Azubeli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Cirilo Gonsalve might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Abechuco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Gonsalve ran back to his position shaking his head. POKER were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Soledad FC for a fine match.
