Victorino Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rodolfo Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Patapufete FC's goalkeeper Maximo Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Artaldo. After 37 played minutes Bompland got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Azubeli. If Victorino Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48thth minute of the game Andres Javiero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patapufete FC's Maximo Demario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Javiero to make the kick off. If Victorino Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Apolo Montez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodolfo Pero. The goal made the score 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Montez in the 61st minute of play forced Bompland's goalkeeper Rodolfo Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Ekialde charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 84th minute Andres Javiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Bompland got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Ostargi. Rodolfo Pero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Pacorro in the 86th minute. Patapufete FC's Apolo Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Markel kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Patapufete FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
