Jiří Strejček showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Richie in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Ivan Dodorol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Dodorol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Jerardo's late challenge caught a Palomo Usuriaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Jerardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, one of Racing Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Racing Club. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Teodoro Jerardo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palomo Usuriaga FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Club.
