In the 11th minute, Bompland's Tiburcio Azubeli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tiburcio Azubeli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bompland protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tiburcio Azubeli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 11th minute, one of Bompland:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bompland. Feliciano Dabi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Victorino Hurko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rodolfo Pero acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Elpidio Ermengol. Rodolfo Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Goren in the 27th minute of play.
