The supporters of Verónica AFC booed when Sticco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Verónica AFC's Teobaldo Orlondo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Verónica AFC's Teodoro Lico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Otsando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abel Serafo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Adolfo Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Verónica AFC's Teobaldo Orlondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Otsando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lucio Otsando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Orlondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Sticco FC's Abel Serafo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Ovando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cirilo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Ovando having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When Fabio Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sticco FC's protests and gave Fabio Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. Cirilo Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cirilo Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Sticco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Velasco couldn't finish the play. Fabio Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Cirilo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Verónica AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sticco FC the free kick. After having played for 87 minutes, Abel Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sticco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Serafo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Cirilo Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abel Serafo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Ovando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Serafo ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sticco FC had played much better football throughout.
