Iker Pirro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Club Atletico River Plate booed when AGPS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilias Bouzoukis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Narciso Erauso made the kick off in the second half. Gregorio Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's Ilias Bouzoukis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Pirro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Club Atletico River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. If Ilias Bouzoukis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Unax in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Club Atletico River Plate's Ilias Bouzoukis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iker Pirro. Paolo Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AGPS. Club Atletico River Plate's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
