Tiburcio Azubeli's late challenge caught a AGPS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Azubeli helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bompland! The referee gave AGPS a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eliseo Brion, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bompland's Rodolfo Pero. 0-1. Rodolfo Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Erauso in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Ospin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Pero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narciso Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rodolfo Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Pero having to interfere. Rodolfo Pero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Erauso in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Ospin in the 26th minute of play forced Bompland's goalkeeper Rodolfo Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Basilio Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bompland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Artaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bompland's Lucio Liberto got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Javiero in the 37th minute of play forced AGPS's goalkeeper Iker Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Andres Javiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Ostargi in the 44th minute of play forced AGPS's goalkeeper Iker Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Pero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Ospin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Gregorio Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Pero having to interfere. Iker Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Javiero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Antonio Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Bizen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gualterio Emesto kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bompland's zone, Gregorio Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Pero came out of the goal and Gregorio Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Basilio Artaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bompland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Artaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lucio Liberto fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bompland's protests and gave Lucio Liberto a yellow card for diving instead. Lucio Liberto hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes, Andres Javiero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bompland and the AGPS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Bompland got a freekick which was hit by Andres Javiero. After 96 played minutes Bompland got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Liberto. AGPS's Eliseo Brion couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bompland. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AGPS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
