Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Amado Edur made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Amado Edur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Eleder's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fulgencio Merexildo firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Alberto in the 18th minute of play forced Don Bosco Jrs.'s goalkeeper Ismael Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Edur struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Fulgencio Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Bosco Jrs.. Fulgencio Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Ruisko in the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Ruisko got free with Fulgencio Merexildo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Universidad de la Cocoya's Fulgencio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Ruisko in the 38th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Yuri Alberto made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Don Bosco Jrs.'s goalkeeper Ismael Koldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuri Alberto. The throw-in from Amado Edur in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Universidad de la Cocoya's Cristo Vachon. Ismael Koldo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Yuri Alberto sent off a good shot on target. Yuri Alberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ismael Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Amado Edur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Merexildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 88 minutes into the match, Yuri Alberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Koldo. Don Bosco Jrs.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Alberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Universidad de la Cocoya booed when Don Bosco Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Amado Edur in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Universidad de la Cocoya's Cristo Vachon. Yuri Alberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
