Odarluz's Matias Ezkerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Cordario in the 8th minute of play. Lorenzo Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Ezkerra having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Adan Oxarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Firmin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matias Ezkerra. Odarluz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francisco Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Claudio Sotil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Francisco Ixaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Claudio Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Francisco Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Mikelar in the 32nd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Odarluz's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Cordario came free, but Matias Ezkerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Ezkerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Truylos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Truylos was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ariel Mikelar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Ixaka. Alcaraz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Mikelar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 60 minutes, Narciso Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcaraz FC and the Odarluz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Alcaraz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 62 minutes, Ariel Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odarluz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Mikelar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Ixaka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odarluz. Matias Ezkerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Truylos's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute Lorenzo Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Ezkerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudio Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hernan Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
