In the 23rd minute Jacinto Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Xabier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Txomin went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Clarke's Aristides Abarca got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes in the game, Aristides Abarca fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leonardo Lander having to interfere. Botija's Leonardo Lander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Botija from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Abarca got free with Leonardo Lander in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clarke's Roberto Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Niva in the 44th minute of play. Botija's Leonardo Lander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Botija from getting a goal against them. Albino Iruinea took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Xabier. Roberto Xabier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Niva to make the kick off. A collision led to Botija getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Albino Iruinea hit a great ball. Roberto Xabier was a little too slow when Jacinto Niva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-4. Esteban Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Clarke got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Balesio. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Botija. Jacinto Niva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roberto Xabier. 0-5. Botija's Leonardo Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Abarca in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Albino Iruinea could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Roberto Xabier however easily saved by the left post. If Albino Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Aristides Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clarke's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Abarca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Lander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Botija's Jacinto Niva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Xabier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albino Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Balasi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. Leonardo Lander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Castel in the 97th minute of the match. When Albino Iruinea fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botija's protests and gave Albino Iruinea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Botija getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Albino Iruinea hit a great ball. Botija's Albino Iruinea got a good chance for a goal in the 102nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
