Alsa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Rio in the 9th minute. The corner led to Alsa FC's Honorato Edur getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Candido Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Matias Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Odarluz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Jacindo to maneuver through the defense. If Dalmacio Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Candido Barrionuevo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Matias Ezkerra, passed just outside the right post. Odarluz's Matias Ezkerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Barrionuevo in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Ariel Mikelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alsa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Barrionuevo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Barrionuevo in the 48th minute of play forced Odarluz's goalkeeper Matias Ezkerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candido Barrionuevo was the one to do the kick off. Odarluz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alsa FC the free kick. A collision led to Odarluz getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Uriel Farias hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Uriel Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Matias Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Odarluz booed when Alsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball.
