After having played for 16 minutes, Rosendo Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clarke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Castel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Anselmo Gaizkine recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Xabier. Anselmo Gaizkine showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 28 minutes of play, Clarke's Rosendo Castel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anacleto Aires was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Castel in the 32nd minute of play forced A.A. Peor es Nada's goalkeeper Anacleto Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Rosendo Castel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anacleto Aires was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Roberto Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Abel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to A.A. Peor es Nada getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pablo Sotil hit a great ball. Roberto Xabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Inocencio Hernando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
