Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Roberto Xabier came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Acuña's Arsenio Berenguer. But to his dismay, Arsenio Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Acuña's Justo Austin got a free kick in the 11th minute. Isidro Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute of the match Florencio Constancio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Xabier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Victorio Leizarraga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Xabier. Victorio Leizarraga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robustiano Jaen during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Acuña getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Robustiano Jaen hit a great ball. After 29 minutes of play, Clarke's Rosendo Castel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Precioso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Aristides Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Acuña's Victorio Leizarraga got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Leizarraga made a kick off. The supporters of Acuña booed when Clarke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clarke's Roberto Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Quinton in the 55th minute of play. Arsenio Berenguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Roberto Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acuña's Isidro Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Castel in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Abarca got free with Isidro Precioso in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rosendo Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Abarcas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Isidro Precioso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Clarke's Arnulfo Abadia got a free kick in the 75th minute. Robustiano Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Roberto Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Freddy Rico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clarke and the Acuña players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Freddy Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Justo Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Clarke's Freddy Rico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidro Precioso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Acuña fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clarke had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
