Tomás Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Galtero in the 15th minute of play. Enrique Galtero might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Claris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Galtero ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Herensuge during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomás Claris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Fidensio's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Erasmo Llin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Zuviria's Isaac Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Locaio in the 28th minute of play. When Jeronimo Fidensio came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Zuviria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Fidensio couldn't finish the play. If Flavio Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Bernat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Isaac Dolfos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Flavio Locaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Dolfos having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rogelio Florian kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tomás Claris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Felix Elia hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Flavio Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Siro Bernat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Tomás Claris managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Zuviria's Jeronimo Fidensio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mario Cordearo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Cordearo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Zuviria. Alejo Osmundo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomás Claris. 0-1. Felix Elia was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rogelio Florian hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Jeronimo Fidensio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zuviria had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
