Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorato Evarado started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Frasquito in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Dantae saved Azul y Oro from getting behind. After 3 played minutes Azul y Oro got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Raymon. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Toribio in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Mambru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as IGNILU's Severino Frasquito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeronimo Dantae. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Marcelino Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Dantae having to interfere. IGNILU's Marcelino Montel got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Edgard Ixidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Dantae having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Azul y Oro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st match minute, IGNILU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Lia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Frasquito in the 42nd minute of play forced Azul y Oro's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Frasquito in the 44th minute of play. Honorato Evarado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Severino Frasquito made the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Frasquito, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Clodoveo Gaxan fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IGNILU's protests and gave Clodoveo Gaxan a yellow card for diving instead. Freddy Mambru made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Fidel Toribio sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Toribio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Mambru having to interfere. When Marcelino Montel came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the IGNILU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Montel couldn't finish the play. Severino Frasquito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jeronimo Dantae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Montel in the 80th minute of play. Azul y Oro's Fidel Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind IGNILU's goalkeeper Freddy Mambru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When IGNILU's Severino Frasquito in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azul y Oro's goalie prevented a goal. 90 minutes into the game, Herminio Iraunkor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azul y Oro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IGNILU the free kick. Herminio Iraunkor hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Severino Frasquito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. IGNILU had won after a very even match.
