After having played for 23 minutes, Elpidio Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polinezio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Jusepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Ongile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Ongile made a kick off. Pascual Xabat was slow to take the kick. During this time Polinezio's players had a chance to rest. Abelardo Teodor made a great header on Polinezio's corner, it was just that Independiente FC's Danilo Ospin managed to reach the ball for a save. Independiente FC's Danilo Ospin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente FC from getting a goal against them.
