Danilo Ospin made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ladislao Fero sent off a good shot on target. When Ladislao Fero came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rahué fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Fero couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Quinteros made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Gitano in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Ospin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Fero couldn't finish the play.
