Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The supporters of Hucal booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Hucal's goalkeeper Sebastian Fidencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Haitz. Justo Tibalt came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Hucal's Marcos Donostia. But to his dismay, Marcos Donostia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zacarias Salvadore kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Sebastian Fidencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Raymon's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Marcos Donostia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Tibalt was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Marcos Donostia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Tibalt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Marcos Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Tibalt having to interfere. Marcos Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Tibalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Rencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ivan Rencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hucal's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Rencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Tibalt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Independiente's Justo Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Rencio in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Raymon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Gonza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hucal the free kick. 52 minutes into the game, one of Independiente:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ivan Rencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Oskarbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sebastian Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Zacarias Salvadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Raymon in the 67th minute of play forced Hucal's goalkeeper Sebastian Fidencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Quexal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Cleto Raymon came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Raymon couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute of the match Denis Paz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Tibalt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ivan Rencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Tibalt having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ivan Rencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 98 minutes into the game, Celso Quexal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hucal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. After 98 played minutes Hucal got a freekick which was hit by Celso Quexal. 99 minutes into the match, Independiente's Arnoldo Perfecto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hucal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
