Teofilo Misael's late challenge caught a Brinkmann's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Misael helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Teofilo Misael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 minutes, Silvestre Nesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cogollum and the Brinkmann players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elpidio Clementi hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Brinkmann's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Dominguez came free, but Igor Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Sixto Hurko managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Brinkmann's Miguel Innocenzio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st play minute Miguel Innocenzio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sixto Hurko. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Cogollum's goalkeeper Sixto Hurko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Innocenzio. Sixto Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Clementi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Amadeo Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Pacorro having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Miguel Innocenzio made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cogollum's Sixto Hurko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Brinkmann were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Cogollum's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ildefonso Calvino took the corner. Brinkmann's Froilan Gimenez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sixto Hurko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elpidio Clementi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixto Hurko having to make a save. Elpidio Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Hurko having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Atilano Dominguez made the kick off in the second half. Brinkmann's Basilio Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Efraim took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Pacorro. Igor Pacorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cogollum's Sixto Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Innocenzio in the 58th minute of play. When Ciro Cuartio fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brinkmann's protests and gave Ciro Cuartio a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brinkmann! Fabio Naelio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 65 played minutes Cogollum got a freekick which was hit by Santos Orain. After 68 played minutes Brinkmann got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Cuartio. Sixto Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Clementi in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cogollum's Teofilo Misael got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the game, Miguel Innocenzio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Sixto Hurko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Innocenzio struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Sixto Hurko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brinkmann. Cogollum's Teofilo Misael got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Teofilo Misael off the ground. Miguel Innocenzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elpidio Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Brinkmann players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
