The Forever FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Todor should have stopped the shot. Felix Tancredo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Roque Todor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Bitxintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Bonifacio Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Gergori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Gergori came out of the goal and Bonifacio Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes Ciénaga got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Bitxintxo. 92 minutes into the match, Ciénaga's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Ederono came free, but Arnaldo Gergori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciénaga's Arnaldo Gergori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Ederono in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Etxeberri got free with Roque Todor in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciénaga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
