Jairo Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Arnaldo Gergori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Txatxu to make the kick off. The coaching staff of Pacara protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Segundo Benet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Uriel Maiorga's late challenge caught a Pacara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uriel Maiorga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ciénaga's Uriel Maiorga got a free kick in the 76th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Gergori showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
