Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Gilberto Vigil started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Luke got free with Clodoveo Incendio in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filomeno Xabat hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Narciso Marquez from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Clodoveo Incendio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 11th match minute, Forever FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Charro to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes, Mar.16's Andres Truylos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roque Todor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mar.16 reached it. Gilberto Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Roque Todor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mar.16's Clodoveo Incendio got control of the ball when Bonifacio Ederono tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Marco Guib came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Mar.16 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Guib couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Ederono received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clodoveo Incendio came out and tried to block the shot, but Bonifacio Ederono slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. The long shot by Jairo Isauro in the 33rd minute really tested Clodoveo Incendio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Clodoveo Incendio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Ederono, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With an all-out effort, Forever FC's Clodoveo Incendio threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Severo Charro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 48 minutes, Gilberto Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mar.16's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Vigil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Ederono was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mar.16's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Ederono came free, but Clodoveo Incendio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Incendio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Ederono in the 54th minute of play. Mar.16's Clodoveo Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Luke in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Gilberto Vigil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roque Todor, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Bonifacio Ederono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forever FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Ederono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Incendio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Luke in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mar.16's zone, Bonifacio Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Incendio came out of the goal and Bonifacio Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Ederono in the 68th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Mar.16 got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Tabby. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Bonifacio Ederono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forever FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Ederono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Incendio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mar.16 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Joaquin Tabby hit a great ball. Gilberto Vigil struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Roque Todor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mar.16. After a rather tough play, Mar.16's Anibal Egun got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Marco Guib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filomeno Xabat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mar.16's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
