Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zeledon Silban took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gogo Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Anibal Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Simogasta FC's Teobaldo Efraim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Buinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute Lázaro Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Maties saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Mon in the 10th minute of play forced Simogasta FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Maties to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Efraim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Anibal Buinton made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bahía Roji-Blanca's Tadeo Gimenez got a free kick in the 14th minute. Damaso Micael hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Efraim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anibal Buinton came out and tried to block the shot, but Teobaldo Efraim slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Bahía Roji-Blanca's Anibal Buinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Efraim in the 23rd minute of play. Lázaro Batista's late challenge caught a Simogasta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Batista helped the player get up and apologised. Lázaro Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Teobaldo Efraim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anibal Buinton. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Gimenez during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bahía Roji-Blanca getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tadeo Gimenez hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes Bahía Roji-Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Batista. 47 minutes into the match, Simogasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Silban came free, but Jonathan Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Efraim was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bahía Roji-Blanca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvaro Vistruario was slow to take the kick. During this time Simogasta FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alvaro Vistruario got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anibal Buinton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 56th minute, Tadeo Gimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Buinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Enekoitz in the 56th minute of the match. Gogo Enekoitz took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Buinton. Anibal Buinton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Enekoitz in the 60th minute of play forced Bahía Roji-Blanca's goalkeeper Anibal Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Buinton came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Simogasta FC's Teobaldo Efraim. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Efraim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 69th minute, Alvaro Vistruario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Mon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Maties read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Teobaldo Efraim scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anibal Buinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anibal Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Enekoitz in the 91st minute of play.
