The tension between the Viamonte FC and the Mar.16 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mar.16 booed when Viamonte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Marco Guib had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braulio Figueroa. Viamonte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Guib was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Vigil in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Figueroa saved Viamonte FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, one of Mar.16:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mar.16. Clodoveo Telmo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Gilberto Vigil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Figueroa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Clodoveo Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Ovando in the 33rd minute of the match. Marco Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Viamonte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Vigil came free, but Braulio Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bernardino Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Ovando to make the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mar.16's goalkeeper Clodoveo Incendio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bernardino Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viamonte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Shepherd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Incendio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Marco Guib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Figueroa having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Filomeno Xabat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Viamonte FC's Cristobal Ovando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clodoveo Incendio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bernardino Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Viamonte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Shepherd couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Marco Guib made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Figueroa. Viamonte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Mar.16's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
