The referee ignored Viamonte FC's protests and gave Julian Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Viamonte FC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Domingues. 10 minutes into the match, Viamonte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Calvet came free, but Braulio Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Napier having to interfere. In the last second Braulio Figueroa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Marcelo Calvet in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Braulio Figueroa was a little too slow when Marcelo Calvet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. Natalio Eztebe charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Eztebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natalio Eztebe kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Viamonte FC's Julian Domingues got a free kick in the 27th minute. Marcelo Calvet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Braulio Figueroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Calvet's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Marcelo Calvet succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Calvet in the 42nd minute of play forced Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Braulio Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Figueroa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernabe Escobar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardino Shepherd was the one to do the kick off. Viamonte FC's Braulio Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Calvet in the 63rd minute of play. Marcelo Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Figueroa having to interfere. Viamonte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Farias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Aguilas Negras were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Viamonte FC for a fine match.
