Benigno Argina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Augusto Chan fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emilia's protests and gave Augusto Chan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Emilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Chan to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Emilia's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Bastia came free, but Luciano Loiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Darien to make the kick off. Luciano Loiola made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tiburcio Jerico sent off a good shot on target. Emilia's Prospero Darien got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilia's Narciso Isaio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
