Emilia's Luciano Loiola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Maties in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Augusto Chan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emilia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tranca FC the free kick. Luciano Loiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Iratzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Tranca FC's Alejandro Bela got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Rafael Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Rey hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Prospero Darien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilia's Amadeo Nataniel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alejandro Bela, made in the 34th minute of the game. Augusto Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Victoriano Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilia's Prospero Darien got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Darien was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Maties in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Loiola saved Emilia from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Marcelino Firmo made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Loiola. Emilia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tranca FC's zone, Amadeo Nataniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Fanuco came out of the goal and Amadeo Nataniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tranca FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Emilia's much stronger midfield.
