RIV-PLATECH's Serafin Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Gaztea in the 8th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as RIV-PLATECH's Honorato Dominix slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artemio Inguma. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. After 19 played minutes La Matera FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Gaztea. In the 22nd minute Honorato Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Hugo Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Matera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Innocenzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rafael Polentzi fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIV-PLATECH's protests and gave Rafael Polentzi a yellow card for diving instead. Rafael Polentzi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jonathan Locaio came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Artemio Inguma could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Dominix to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Serafin Bazil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marciano Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Alejandro Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, La Matera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Odol to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Ladislao Cambranes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Inguma skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RIV-PLATECH fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Matera FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
