Punto Unido FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Bermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cayetano Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Jenaro having to interfere. Rosendo Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aquiles Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Rodriguez was the one to do the kick off. Cayetano Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gervasio Jenaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Samuel Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Punto Unido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Eron to maneuver through the defense. If Basilio Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Corderun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Benitez having to interfere. Esteban Corderun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aquiles Benitez firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Rodriguez in the 95th minute of play forced Muñecos del Sur's goalkeeper Gervasio Jenaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Muñecos del Sur had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
