In the 3rd minute, Sergio Jacob shot a free kick towards goal which, to his disappointment, went just outside the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Ruben Pero put in a rough tackle. In the 8th minute, one of Muñecos del Sur:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Muñecos del Sur. Agustin Tallia shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Sergio Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Esteban Corderun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Delmar Timo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 22 played minutes Villalonga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Dubardo. Sergio Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gervasio Jenaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Galsino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Galsino in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Jenaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Muñecos del Sur's zone, Agustin Galsino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Jenaro came out of the goal and Agustin Galsino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Maxin charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Maxin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Muñecos del Sur getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mariano Maxin hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Agustin Galsino took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gervasio Jenaro to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Muñecos del Sur's goalkeeper Gervasio Jenaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Galsino made a kick off. Agustin Galsino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gervasio Jenaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Galsino in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Jenaro saved Muñecos del Sur from getting behind. Sergio Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Jenaro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Muñecos del Sur's zone, Agustin Galsino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Jenaro came out of the goal and Agustin Galsino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Jenaro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Jacob in the 66th minute of play forced Muñecos del Sur's goalkeeper Gervasio Jenaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Villalonga AFC's Delmar Timo got control of the ball when Esteban Corderun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteban Corderun might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Timo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Corderun ran back to his position shaking his head. Gervasio Jenaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Jacob in the 75th minute of play. Sergio Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Jenaro having to interfere. When Villalonga AFC's Agustin Galsino in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Muñecos del Sur's goalie prevented a goal. Gervasio Jenaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Galsino in the 86th minute of play. Gervasio Jenaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Galsino's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Esteban Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Despite being the better team, Villalonga AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
