Spectators: 6997 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedicto Cloyo started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes Liricos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gavino Porfiro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Sarasa's Gavino Porfiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Ovidio Romano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dionisio Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Liricos FC's Ovidio Romano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Isias in the 12th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Liricos FC's Eustacio Ekain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celestino Rexino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Sarasa booed when Liricos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ovidio Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Oto during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Liricos FC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Oto. Benedicto Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Romano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Isias, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Santo Mazuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34thth minute of the game Iker Isias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liricos FC's Ovidio Romano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidio Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Iker Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Romano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 47 minutes, Dionisio Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liricos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Umea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Ekain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Liricos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Natanael to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Dionisio Umea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Cristo Osoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Umea in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Benedicto Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Liricos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. When Igor Natanael fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liricos FC's protests and gave Igor Natanael a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Igor Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Ekain in the 82nd minute of play forced Sarasa's goalkeeper Celestino Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Liricos FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Romano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Isias. If Benedicto Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eustacio Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Rexino came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Liricos FC's Eustacio Ekain. But to his dismay, Eustacio Ekain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Dionisio Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarasa succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Liricos FC had controlled the match.
