Aquiles Benitez came out of the goal and Emilio Jaume tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Teodor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Aquiles Benitez made a huge save. Aquiles Benitez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Jaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elia Muzzolon's late challenge caught a Punto Unido FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elia Muzzolon helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Balcosna got a freekick which was hit by Elia Muzzolon. In the 96th minute of the match Jonathan Beremundo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenílson Sergipano skillfully saved the ball. The Punto Unido FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Balcosna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
