Samuel Dubardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Jacob in the 32nd minute of play. Aquiles Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Galsino in the 35th minute of the match. Sergio Jacob's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Oinatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Sergio Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's Melchor Gaueko got a free kick in the 39th minute. Villalonga AFC's Delmar Timo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Villalonga AFC from getting a goal against them. Aquiles Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Galsino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Villalonga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Jacob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amado Mendez's late challenge caught a Villalonga AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Mendez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, C.A.BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Mendez to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Tallia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aquiles Oinatz. C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aquiles Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Galsino, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
