The referee ignored Capayán AFC's protests and gave Dionisio Nahia a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Capayán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Nahia. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Clemente Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montefiore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Galeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Lázaro Gombal came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Montefiore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Gombal couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Teobaldo Dino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Txurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes, Lázaro Gombal made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Capayán AFC's Arnaldo Eneko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Montefiore FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Teobaldo Dino, was totally fooled by Capayán AFC's Eustaquio Iago, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Arnaldo Eneko came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Montefiore FC's Lázaro Gombal. But to his dismay, Lázaro Gombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Camilo Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Teobaldo Dino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Montefiore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Txurio came free, but Teobaldo Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Eneko came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Montefiore FC's Lázaro Gombal. But to his dismay, Lázaro Gombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Montefiore FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
