Spectators: 7093 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantino Txurio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Txurio in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Ritchie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th match minute, Obraje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Silvino to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Ritchie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantino Txurio's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Niceto Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capayán AFC's protests and gave Niceto Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Capayán AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Niceto Cordario hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Obraje FC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Ritchie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Artal. In the 15th minute Dionisio Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Obraje FC's Ermegildo Ritchie got control of the ball when Dionisio Nahia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Albano Oihenarte came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Obraje FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Oihenarte couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Capayán AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dionisio Nahia hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Constantino Txurio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capayán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Txurio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Ritchie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Norberto Eneto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Capayán AFC's zone, Norberto Eneto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Eneko came out of the goal and Norberto Eneto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Obraje FC's Albano Oihenarte in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Capayán AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ciriaco Hug hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Capayán AFC's Constantino Txurio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Eneto was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Obraje FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Toli. Camilo Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Ritchie having to interfere. Obraje FC's Ermegildo Ritchie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Txurio in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes, Moises Bazkoare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obraje FC and the Capayán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Obraje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Bazkoare to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Obraje FC's Albano Oihenarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Eneko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Dionisio Nahia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capayán AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obraje FC the free kick. After 67 played minutes Capayán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Nahia. Ermegildo Ritchie came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Capayán AFC's Camilo Artal. But to his dismay, Camilo Artal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Camilo Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ermegildo Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Moises Bazkoare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Constantino Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Txurio in the 87th minute of play forced Obraje FC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Artal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Albano Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Arnaldo Eneko made a huge save. Albano Oihenarte's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Arnaldo Eneko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Obraje FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
