The referee ignored Club Bella Vista's protests and gave Bonifacio Olayo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Bella Vista getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bonifacio Olayo hit a great ball. Justo Indartsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Emilio Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papagayos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Matxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Indartsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Senin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Segundo Laurgain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Matxin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Indartsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Gilberto Dalmai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Matxin got free with Justo Indartsu in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermengildo Senin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute of the match Bruno Semeno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Segundo Laurgain skillfully saved the ball. If Bonifacio Olayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Club Bella Vista's Bonifacio Olayo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 64 minutes, Saturnino Leizarraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Bella Vista and the Papagayos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Papagayos FC booed when Club Bella Vista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Matias Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papagayos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Cefero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Cefero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Indartsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Olayo got free with Segundo Laurgain in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Indartsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Club Bella Vista's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Matxin came free, but Justo Indartsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Matxin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Justo Indartsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papagayos FC. Matias Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Bella Vista eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
