Spectators: 6200 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) RIO LIMAY's Gonzalo Macario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Apolo Arlo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnaldo Eneko. Apolo Arlo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 7 played minutes RIO LIMAY got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Ayala. Gonzalo Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RIO LIMAY's Apolo Arlo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Macario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Eneko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 15 played minutes RIO LIMAY got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Arlo. Camilo Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lucio Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, RIO LIMAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Etxatxu to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Artal took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Miro. Lucio Miro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, RIO LIMAY's Gonzalo Macario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Eneko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucio Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Txurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Capayán AFC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Eneko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Macario. Constantino Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lucio Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to RIO LIMAY getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Apolo Arlo hit a great ball. RIO LIMAY's Gonzalo Macario got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Txurio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Apolo Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Eneko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Macario in the 54th minute of the match. When Gonzalo Macario came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the RIO LIMAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Macario couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Gonzalo Macario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Froylan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind RIO LIMAY's goalkeeper Lucio Miro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Constantino Txurio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Miro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Constantino Txurio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucio Miro. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 77th minute, Gonzalo Macario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIO LIMAY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Apolo Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Eneko having to interfere. Gonzalo Macario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Arnaldo Eneko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Arlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Apolo Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIO LIMAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Arlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucio Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Txurio in the 96th minute of play. RIO LIMAY were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
