If Juan Pereyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Garikoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Basilio Loi made a huge save. A hard shot 17 in the game by Tobias Garikoitz from a close distance when the talented Basilio Loi managed to make a qualified save. Pomancillo AFC's players were relieved. With a little luck, Pomancillo AFC's Basilio Loi got control of the ball when Tobias Garikoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Juan Pereyra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimnasia de las Torres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Pereyra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Estebe in the 28th minute of play. Isidoro Estebe took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saturnino Ponciano. Saturnino Ponciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Gimnasia de las Torres booed when Pomancillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Garikoitz struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Basilio Loi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimnasia de las Torres. Juan Pereyra kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Tobias Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Loi having to interfere. After the first half Pomancillo AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Estebe to make the kick off. Isidoro Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Ponciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Rogelio Perico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pomancillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Perico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Ponciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidoro Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Saturnino Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Gimnasia de las Torres's Saturnino Ponciano got control of the ball when Rogelio Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rogelio Perico came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Pomancillo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Perico couldn't finish the play. The Gimnasia de las Torres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pomancillo AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pomancillo AFC.
