In the 37th match minute, Pomancillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Asier to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pomancillo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aldo Dabi was slow to take the kick. During this time Monserrat FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Monserrat FC's Anselmo Bilintx to fire away a dangerous shot which Basilio Loi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paulino Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Loi having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

57 minutes into the match, Pomancillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Bilintx came free, but Basilio Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Monserrat FC booed when Pomancillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Loi having to interfere. Isaias Asier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Ekhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pomancillo AFC's Isaias Asier got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Paulino Justin came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Monserrat FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Justin couldn't finish the play. Basilio Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Basilio Loi made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Paulino Justin sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
