When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusebio Chan made a kick off. Tobias Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Tobias Garikoitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia de las Torres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Victorio Tanio was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
